Feeling discouraged, sigh.
It's week 5! I don't feel any fitter than I was five weeks ago, and I most certainly don't look fitter, nor have I lost any weight. Gah. Ran approx 3.2k today on the road. Tried to push myself to go faster but that only meant that I ended up huffing and puffing and walking half the way.
Did I mention I was discouraged?

take heart, brave runners! you are doing well. yuk yee hasn't lost much weight and that's after running 21 k. what's my point? you are building *muscle*, which is heavier (than whatever you had before), opus, so it only *seems* like you're not losing weight. keeping going!
